VCAT Compliant Reports

A VCAT compliant report is a report that meets the requirements of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) in Victoria, Australia.

Consultec Reports are produced in accordance with VCAT guidelines, conforming to VCAT PRACTICE NOTE ‘PNVCAT2’ The practice note can be viewed at www.vcat.vic.gov.au

VCAT is a tribunal that hears a wide range of disputes, including building & related disputes, consumer transactions, and small claims.

When preparing a report for VCAT, experts must ensure that their reports comply with VCAT's rules and guidelines, which include providing a clear and concise summary of the expert's opinions, limitations of their expertise, and any assumptions made.

Their reports must also be signed and dated by the expert, and the expert must be prepared to give evidence in court if required. VCAT compliant reports typically include a clear and concise summary of the issues in dispute, the expert's opinions on those issues, and any relevant supporting evidence or references.

Consultec Reports not only to meet the VCAT requirements,  they are produced in an easy to read professional informative format with extensive photographic evidence and accurate descriptive dialog.
